Looking Ahead at Seattle’s Light Rail Expansion
This project, best read on Medium, is an article analyzing Sound Transit’s proposed expansion for the Link light rail in the Seattle metro area. I was initially interested in assessing the expansion in light of the Urban Institute’s geographical data on job access and wages in the Seattle area. But as I dug into the data, I pursued other threads, including projected demographic changes and carbon savings. Below are some of the maps and charts I created during my analysis, shown in static form.
